From Grumpy’s to Knockback Nat’s
Grumpy’s, then Rockin’ Robin’s
The space at 10 W 7th St has poured drinks for downtown Cincinnati for decades — long before it carried the Knockback Nat’s name.
Knockback Nat’s opens
Owner Natalie — “Nat” — took over the bar and made it her own, building the neighborhood spot it is today.
Travel Channel comes calling
Knockback Nat’s wings landed a feature on the Travel Channel, putting our smoked wings on the map.
Growing the room
The crowds kept coming, so Nat’s purchased the adjoining space to give everyone room to watch the game.

Smoked low and slow
What sets our wings apart is the process: smoked low and slow, spice-rubbed, for a smoky flavor and a wonderfully crispy skin. Get them tossed in sauce or on the side — either way, you pick the heat, from Mild all the way to X‑Hot.
The Vibe
Narrow, loud, and unpretentious
Old newspaper clippings cover the walls, complimentary popcorn pops behind the counter, and there’s a well-rounded lineup of craft beer on tap. It’s a proper neighborhood dive — the kind of place where everybody feels like a regular, no matter what brought them through the door.
